Who let Mr Pages write the intro?

This is extremely exciting for me! My favourite musician being sponsored to make a song for my favourite franchise! AND IT’S LIKE 12 MINUTES LONG!

I’ll probably get more of the references once I actually play Mask Of The Rose, but this is already awesome nonetheless.

We couldn’t have had a better time making this with Stupes. Please enjoy.

Finally, finally we can say: Fallen London has an official companion tea!

We’ve been very blessed to work with Friday Afternoon Tea on an official custom tea blend based on our games!

Friday Afternoon Tea is a geeky, family-owned tea company based in Seattle, USA. Owner Friday Elliott’s unique take on tea blending stems from a neurological cross-wiring known as Lexical-Gustatory Synesthesia: she experiences language (both spoken and written) and abstract concepts as distinct flavour profiles. In short, she literally tastes words and ideas. I’ve longed to create a tea blend for Fallen London, and as soon as I heard about her work, I was struck with a very compelling desire to know what the Neath would taste like when filtered through her remarkable talent. I’m delighted to share that after discussing and playing our games, she’s come up with something wonderfully apropos.

Love & Murder is a deep, delectable draught with a perfect balance of heady floral and dank earthy notes. The blend features puer aged tea, reishi mushroom, rose petal, linden flower and roasted dandelion root.

It’s just the thing to brew up for a long evening in with Mask of the Rose. I hope you’ll give it a try, and I’d like to thank my colleagues and the members of the community who were able to taste test it with us at our last live event!

Try some yourself!

Hey, Fallon London Fans

…which is probably very few of my followers but hey that’s how it goes. Anyway, I made a picrew for making custom Curators and I’m very excited about it! :0

I do intend to add more stuff to it later but it took so much effort to just do this much, I just wanted to get it done XP

Feel free to send me suggestions for it though, even if they’ll take a while! (Also if there’s any art errors, let me know about that also please.)

Here’s my own Curator OC I made using this, Mr. Keys (who’s based on a Townsend’s Big Eared Bat):

So yeah! Reblog this or tag me with the Curators you make, I wanna see ‘em! :3

Curators are a species made by @failbettergames and featured in their browser game Fallen London, (which I highly recommend,) as well as two of their other games in the same universe, Sunless Seas and Sunless Skies. They are kind of hidden and secret though so if you don’t know them this is technically kind of a spoiler, sorry XP

griz-vt:

Hello, I'm a huge fan of Sunless Seas and Skies, and the setting as a whole. I was curious if there was anything like a Tabletop role-playing system for the setting out there, either as a custom game or a variant of an already released system?

At the moment there’s only Skyfarer, but it’s cute

Mask of the Rose is coming out this April for PC/Mac/Linux and Nintendo Switch, and we are beginning the celebrations now!

As a Feast of the Rose gift for you all, we’ve commissioned fibre artist and games enthusiast The Pigeon’s Nest to create a crochet pattern for your favourite verbacient Master of the Bazaar, Mr Pages!

The Mr Pages crochet pattern is available from The Pigeon’s Nest, for free, as a downloadable pdf. You can work up your own cuddly Master and tell it all of your love stories while you wait to get close to the real thing in Mask of the Rose…

Down the years we’ve often been asked for plushies of our characters, and we have finally found this lovely solution to offer people which doesn’t have the same kind of negative environmental impact as your average plush toy. The Pigeon’s Nest (aka Bex) is an independent crochet artist who creates patterns, crochet kits and crocheted items, as well as courses for learning to crochet and all manner else besides. We’re so delighted with her design for Mr Pages!

In addition to the free pattern, Bex has made 30 Mr Pages kits, containing all of the yarn and fixings you’ll need to make a little Master of your own. Bex is also offering to create 10 complete Mr Pages, who will be made to order. The kits are priced at £25 each and the complete Mr Pages are £65, available from The Pigeon’s Nest.

If you make a little Mr Pages, please do share it with us! We’d love to see where they end up.
