Come closer, my dear, if you want to know that…

Remember that time I finished my stitch for the Fallen London fan work contest and then didn’t buy a frame? Well, here it is all finished and framed. Idk what to do with it I’m not used to making things I don’t give as gifts. The free pattern I made for this can be found here. Get stitching!

Supremacy: the DAWN MACHINE is now TRIUMPHANT!

Thanks are in order after something that took me so long: failbettergames, your guidance helped me determine the reason behind the absence of any of the Bazaar’s more well-known sigils on here. As such, I stitched the ao3 logo onto the Dawn Machine (twice): artificial stories for an artificial god.

misterarendt, the Dawn Machine is glorious and incandescent and I’ve lost two captains by stopping dead within its waters to stare at the SHINY. I mean the Sequencers are so repellent - and yet I still detour to the Dawn Machine every time I pass by Port Carnelian. I apologise for all the discrepancies - I tried to match the colors up as closely as possible out of the yarn I had, and I hope no one sees the ersatz teeny correspondence letters as too much of a failure. Set me on fire and let me perish beneath the unterzee’s cruel placidity; I resign myself to death and inferior craftsmanship. (vague making of post here.)

We are truly humbled by your craft, delicious friend!

This Eastern Angler Crab, as is common for its kind, has curious marks etched on its abdominal plate – seven vertical lines between two longer ones, like pillars beneath a roof. In the words of our surgeon:

“We long hypothesised, from the still-glimmering corpse of this vast decapod, that it guised itself as a distant light, to lure its prey close. We discovered, eventually, that it simply pursues its prey across the zee with happy zeal. It evinces, also, a regrettable turn of speed.”

(shhh I know they don’t actually have bobble legs! The right pincer took me literally two hours for something half an inch long!! I’m not putting this in colored water to imitate ripple effects, is what I’m saying.)

(and in game I perhaps hate jillyfleur the most, even beyond lorn flukes or the eater-of-names, but. look what it did to my poor steamer.)

pendragon, my latest captain. it turns out that straying a little south from the khanate yielded (un)pleasant results; the reef of roses is one of the loveliest things i’ve encountered in-game. can’t say the same for red honey.
