While it’s not a full Let’s Play, it felt wrong to let a week go by without making something for the channel. So, let’s have a conversation about Fallen London.
Here’s what I finally ended up settling on for Halloween - Mr. Cups! While Wines is far and away my favourite Master, Cups earns fond thoughts from me every time the Relicker carts come by. Also, a guy who collects junk is a really easy costume to put together.
It’s hard to see here, but I tried to incorporate references to the Relickers and other Masters in the junk I had draped all over myself. There are a couple of half-burned candles bundled up with that Patent Scrutinizer, and I had a pair of dinged-up spoons in my hatband, among other things. (I stole a packet of honey intended for tea and demonstrated their use during the party.)
Possibly my favourite detail, I had my backpack on under the cloak to both store my stuff and create the illusion of that authentic “no I’m totally not hiding giant spacebat wings under here” hunch.
